Back on Route 100, drive through the charming village of Woodstock, then wind north through the Green Mountains, stopping at Moss Glen Falls. End your day in the quaint village of Warren and check-in at the Pitcher Inn, a historic country inn with a good restaurant.
Day Two: Continue north through the spectacular countryside to Stowe where you can explore the old village and hike and bike on the many trails. Then head west to Lake Champlain to kayak or sail on the lake. Spend the night at The Inn at Shelburne Farms, an eco-friendly historic inn nestled on 400-acres of sustainable woodlands. Don’t miss dinner at Starry Night Café in Ferrisburg.
