FULL MOON IGUAZÚ

Part road trip, part jungle trek, this Area Valet trip through the green abundance of jungle and the red earth of Misiones Province in northeast Argentina is a feast for the senses.

The five-day adventure takes you through indigenous Guaraní communities with Jesuit ruins, miles of pristine streams for canoeing, and secluded waterfalls pure enough to drink; all accompanied with original places to sleep like Posada La Bonita, relaxing cabins in the middle of the lush vegetation where a swinging hammock and the sounds of colorful birds welcome you at the end of a day.

550km in four days takes you through Posadas, San Ignacio Mini, El Soberbio, Saltos del Mocona, Andrecito and leads you to the crescendo of Iguazú, the most spectacular waterfall in the world (featured in the film The Mission and the upcoming Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull), where you’ll walk under the sky of this land under a full moon.
