After months of cold island weather and quiet cobblestone streets, here are some hotel deals on Nantucket that are sure to soothe your nerves about the weak dollar. And with the ever-increasing crowds in summer, you’ll love the island in spring.

The Cottages at the Boat Basin, cute cottages right on the docks with uninhibited views of Nantucket Bay, are offering rates at $162 a night.

The White Elephant, a Nantucket landmark since the 1920s, is offering the significantly reduced rate of $245 a night through June 19.

In town, the Jared Coffin House, a historic inn dating from 1845, is just steps away from restaurants and shops opening their doors after a long winter season. While in-town boarding can be pricey during the summer, spring at the Jared Coffin House means lower prices with room rates at $124 a night.

And for those craving more seclusion, The Wauwinet, a private inn nine miles outside of town, has rooms for $290 a night from May 4 until June 22 (summer guests pay $700), leaving plenty of spending money for Nantucket boutiques.
