Just opened: a decadent new haven of relaxation, the Dolder Grand Spa in one of Zurich’s most legendary hotels, the Dolder Grand, reopened in May after a four year, $400 million renovation.
Long renowned for health and beauty, the Dolder Grand sprang to life as a “Curhaus” (health spa) for the citizens of Zurich back in 1899 and continues its ongoing tradition of health and wellness with its new 43,000 square-foot spa (designed by spa designer extraordinaire Sylvia Sepielli).
Here you'll find European therapies with Japanese influences and Swiss-style service. Our favorite features: the Aqua Zone with a Bisazza Mosaic infinity pool (did we mention the views of the Alps from the pool?), a Snow Paradise room, and a “chillout” room with basket chairs which hang suspended from the ceiling. There’s also a gym, yoga and meditation studios, 19 treatment rooms, and two exclusive spa suites for the ultimate in privacy.
