Contemporary art is flourishing and nowhere more than in Beijing – with the thriving Chinese economy and the rapidly opening art market. Enter Art Beijing – China’s most exciting contemporary art fair.

Art Beijing 2007 (Sep 20-23) takes place in the new hall of the National Agricultural Exhibition Center and the 2nd year of this event promises to break new artistic terrain. Over 130 galleries from around the world are participating with original works from some of China and Asia’s best contemporary artists. In addition to the exhibits, there are speakers and forums taking a hot look at the contemporary art scene.

Outside, in the open square of the National Agricultural Exhibition Hall, “Youth Art Zone", displays works by artists under the age of 35.
