Harvest is a special time of year in wine country – the vineyards have changed color, blanketing the landscape in red and gold, scents of ripened fruit surround you, and the echoes of celebration from a hard year’s work fill the air.

One of our favorite fall weekends, celebrating the harvest at the Paso Robles Harvest Wine Tour (Oct 19-21) where more than 75 Paso Robles wineries open their doors to wine lovers.

Take a cooking class and learn the art of food pairing, ride through the vines in a vintage jeep, stomp some grapes in traditional fashion, or enjoy a slower pace by indulging in a winemaker dinner, barrel sampling within the cool confines of the cellar, or taking in live music on a sun kissed deck.
