THE INN THING
Almost everyone we speak to at the moment seems to be in the process of buying, renovating or opening an inn. With droves of designers turning their attention to the timeless British tavern tradition, it wouldn’t be surprising if we saw an explosion in upmarket ‘boozers with bedrooms’ in the next year or two. There are already plenty of polished pub stays out there in the UK, so here’s a quick round-up of our favorite boutique ‘beer, bed and breakfasts’: The George: a converted Cotswolds coaching inn with fantastic food to boot.
