Earth Day is tomorrow, so in honor of the planet, for the rest of this week we’re giving you our favorite green picks from around the globe. Top of our radar, our favorite new eco-friendly hotel. With a name like Hotel Green its no wonder this little inn in Nantucket from shoe designer Vanessa Noel made our list. Nantucket’s first environmentally conscious hotel, it’s not only green on the outside, but eco-chic on the inside as well. The ten individually decorated rooms are filled with sustainable products like recycled cardboard coffee tables and chairs, artwork with milk-based paints, and natural bamboo window shades. You’ll also find hemp bathrobes and towels in your room as well as a selection of organic beverages and snacks. Throw in an organic restaurant, all-natural cleaning products, and wheat grass growing out front and you have a veritable eco-haven.
